Every year, nearly 14,000 patients will need a bone marrow transplant from a perfect stranger. Less than half will receive one.
Eric Eddy is a former resident of the Copenhagen, NY community who currently lives in Connecticut with his loving wife and two wonderful children.
Eric has been battling leukemia since October 2015 and was in remission for several months. Sadly, he recently found out that the cancer has returned and his best option for a cure is a bone marrow transplant.
Register as a potential bone marrow donor and you could be the one match able to save Eric or a blood cancer patient like him! Registration includes an eligibility screening, filling out a form, and swabbing each cheek for 30 seconds to collect cells for use in matching with a patient.
