Matches for Minorities is a student led organization that was founded after years of community involvement in bone marrow donor advocacy revealed the major disparities minority patients face in finding life saving donor matches. What began through local volunteer work in Los Angeles quickly grew into a larger mission centered on healthcare equity, donor accessibility, and representation within the transplant system.
