19-year-old Korey Daughenbaugh was born and raised in Elizabethtown, IL. His life forever changed in October 2014 when was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Doctors have now determined Korey's best option is to receive a bone marrow transplant. With no family matches available, he must rely on the national bone marrow registry.
There are more than 13,000 blood cancer patients searching for bone marrow transplants and more than half will never receive one due to lack of donors on the registry. Korey's family wants to help him beat the odds by hosting a bone marrow drive. If you 18-55 and in good health it only takes a few minutes and the swab of a cheek to see if you could be a life-saving match for Korey or another patient in need!
