Sickle Cell Disease is a lifelong illness that requires early and ongoing care to relieve symptoms and reduce the risk of irreversible complications. NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center are partners in providing bone marrow transplantation for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease.
Join us for an informational event about sickle cell disease based on the theme: “Back to School: Back to Health.” Families are invited to attend this event.
At the event you will have the opportunity to register as a bone marrow donor, and learn more about how you can organize a donor drive to register others.
The event is free, however an R.S.V.P. is required to attend. (212) 305-8443 or SickleCellDayRSVP@nyp.org
