Abilene Christian University has teamed up with Earl Young's Team to educate the campus and community about the importance of the bone marrow registry. There are currently more than 14,000 patients with blood cancers and blood diseases searching for a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately more than half will never receive one due to lack of donors on the registry. Abilene Christian and Earl Young's Team want to help patients beat those odds by hosting a bone marrow drive on campus. For those in good health between 18 and 55 it only takes a few minutes and the swab of a cheek to see if you could be a life-saving match to a patient in need!
